I can't escape this mess that I am in
torn apart by my own anxiety and stress of the thought of missing you

you can't run from what you already know
so I'll take out the battery of my old phone so I don't feel so alone

when I say that I wish that you would have stayed
what I really mean is that I hate the train and travelling miles and miles away

all these thoughts I've got running through my head say I shouldn't bother getting out of bed
